"Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this historic site. It was super clean, nice evening entertainment & comfortable beds. Only thing that was disappointing is no mini frig in our room (building 1 room 121) but our friends in 2 other rooms had them. requiring you to go all the way to the office building to get an ice bucket, no daytime bar/snack service at the pool during the day yet the website says seasonal service."

"This place was perfect for what we were wanting. It has a lot of privacy with the beautiful lake right in the backyard. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The sunsets are gorgeous! We really enjoyed the pool. It was just what we were looking for. We will be back!! "

"Our overall stay was excellent when we were there from Friday (8/8) until Sunday (8/10). Our room was cleaned when we first checked in. The only thing that was unusual was the setup of our bathroom because sink and faucet were located right next to our main room door. Toilet and shower were together in the same room separate from sink & faucet. This set up reminded me of how some of the bathrooms in France were set up. The biggest gripe for me was the stairway across from room 302 going down to the first floor smelled like someone has been smoking pot the whole time that were staying there. Otherwise, awesome stay at an awesome facility! David"

"The property was quiet with adequate parking directly in front of your room. This is a single level motel, so no having to use stairs or deal with noisy people above you. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean with a functioning fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was comfy and the AC worked great against the TX heat! There is a nice desk, tv w/ remote, dresser, and night stands in the room. The property is easy to access from the freeway but the rooms are tucked away enough that you do not hear the freeway, making it quiet. I will definitely be staying again. "

"The rooms are very clean, bed is very comfortable, the walk in shower was very nice. The only thing I did not like was they only had two luggage carts and other customers had taken them to there rooms and did not return them. When I was checking out I was unable to use one for my luggage made it difficult to walk with a cane and carry my luggage to the car."

"Best stay in awhile. Superb room, clean, well lit parking lot, safe. These folks keep their parking lot super clean, easy to get to and has room for rv parking in back with cameras. Will stay again when in area."

"Overall, great location and very central to everything you would want. Convenient location to Baylor Scott and White hospital, shopping and restaurants. Clean, appreciate the amenities-hot tub, pool, gym and breakfast. Doing renovations to the front of the building..but easy parking and access to the lobby. Should have stayed here the whole time I was in town and paid the extra for a much nicer hotel than what I chose. Lesson learned. There are a few quirks, sink has a drain you can stop up and did the accidentally and was difficult to pull up without having a tool to lift it and bed could be more comfortable. But beyond that, a good hotel."
